Trusted organizations and individuals are invited to support a complete count in our community by becoming Census Ambassadors today!

WHAT COULD YOU or YOUR ORGANIZATION DO AS A CENSUS AMBASSADOR?

1. Become an Expert on Census 2020
       - Attend training
       - On boarding Conference Call (early December)
       - “How to” conduct Census Outreach (Jan - March)

2. Conduct Outreach in Your Community
       - Adopt your block: Knock on your neighbors doors and remind people to take their Census
       - Provide in-person Census support by staffing a Questionnaire Assistance Center (QAC)
       - Host a Census event or workshop

3. Keep Your Community Informed
       - Share census information via existing communications platforms

4. Track Your Progress
       - Use a simple form to track your progress

5. Access Ambassador-Exclusive Resources
       - Census 2020 Ambassador branded t-shirts
       - Talking points
       - How-to guides & One-pagers
       - I’m Counted Stickers

Organizations who receive County Census Outreach grants do not need to complete the Census Ambassador Application. The RFP for these funds were due on August 16 and awards are expected to be made on September 24.

All Census Ambassadors must serve share Census messages with hard to count communities. Ambassadors will be able to access content for emails, social media, and newsletters to help you convey important Census information and updates to your community. We ask that you incorporate this key messaging into your own channels during 6 important Census milestones. Of course, feel free to tailor our language to fit your audience.
