🎶 Sunday Sessions: Family-Friendly Open Mic! 🎸
Calling all musical parents, caregivers and community members in Waterloo Region!
I'm exploring the idea of hosting a monthly Sunday afternoon open mic (2–5 PM) where parents of young children can sing, play, perform and connect without having to worry about finding evening childcare.
The idea is simple: a welcoming, family-friendly space where children can play while their parents enjoy making music and sharing their talents!
This event would be open to everyone, with a special focus on making live music more accessible to parents with little ones.
We're currently gauging interest, collecting venue suggestions and looking for community members who might like to volunteer or contribute.
