Spring '25 Policy Pod Sign Up
Policy Pods are small working groups focused on a policy issue. Each Pod is asked to meet with minimally two officials each semester in the St. Louis Area and plan one call in day per semester to engage campus.  Pods partner with area organizations to ensure they are not working against community needs and attend monthly group gatherings to continue learning

Each Pod will have a student leader (or 2!) that help establish a working timeline and communicates with the group to make sure meetings are successful.  Each Pod meets weekly, depending on the needs of the group, and legislative sessions.  Being part of a pod is a commitment and requires regular attendance at pod meetings and some outside research/outreach (typically no more than 2 hours total per week, one hour meeting and one hour outside work.)

Why do you want to be in a Policy Pod? (please include your interest in some of the top choices and why you chose those).
Would you be equally active if you were placed in your second or third choice pod?  Please explain.
I understand for my pod to be successful, I have to be committed to attending meetings, responding to messages, and will be asked to do a small amount of outside research/outreach (one hour or less/week outside of pod meetings).
