Your answer
To become a member of the Activist Council, accepted applicants must attend a full day weekend training or two evening training sessions during the week. Meals and childcare are provided. Let us know if weekends or weeknights work better for you, or if you are flexible given enough lead time with training date(s). *
Your answer
Commitment Check In: Committing to a full-day or multi-evening Activist Council training is too much for me right now, but I'd be interested in getting involved with other PPNYC volunteer efforts. *
Are you involved in other organizing, advocacy, or volunteer work related to social justice? If so, tell us more about your role and efforts! *
Your answer
What motivates you to be/become a reproductive health, rights, and justice activist? Please feel free to share a personal or professional experience that motivated you to take action or become more involved in activism. *
Your answer
At PPNYC, we value the diversity of reproductive health experiences and pay particular attention to the ways in which identity, especially race, ethnicity, disability, gender identity, and class, intersects with access to reproductive health care. How would your role as an activist support our goal of reproductive freedom for all people, including groups that have traditionally faced barriers to accessing health care? *
Your answer
Please share any additional knowledge/experience/identity you feel is important to highlight and bring to your work in the Activist Council. *
