Summer 2023 Confluences River Expeditions Guide Application
CRE is seeking to hire a few experienced guides to join our summer staff in guiding multi-day whitewater rafting trips in Idaho on the Main Salmon River. CRE guides are a fun-loving and thoughtful group of people with a passion for nature and wilderness. CRE guides love boating, but they love sharing the outdoors with our guests even more. Guiding for CRE can be hard work, full of long hours in sometimes physically demanding situations. Yet our guides find it incredibly rewarding to enrich lives through safe and memorable outdoor experiences. To do so, CRE hires guides who are committed to excellence in hospitality and safety. A CRE guide strives to provide meaningful interpretation to guests, supports conservation efforts, has a desire to grow and learn, and endeavors to achieve the best in their professional and personal lives. Minimum Qualifications include Wilderness First Aid/CPR/Epinephrine Administration, Basic Swiftwater Rescue (16 hours), and experience guiding on Class III Whitewater. Guides can earn a bonus for having Wilderness First Responder and Swiftwater Rescue Technician (24 hours of training).  

Base pay is competitive with per day bonuses available for advanced experience and certification.
