LIBRE Collective Spring 2022 Registration Form
Thank you for expressing interest in the LIBRE Program! Please fill out the questionnaire below (Deadline: Friday, January 28, 2022 at 12pm EST) which will be reviewed by the Cultural Life Education Team as we determine the group of participants who will make up the LIBRE Collective in Spring 2022. We are seeking a group of students who are interested in learning and growing as justice-oriented leaders at Northeastern.

Designed for students, LIBRE is a series of workshops that will complement the development and deepening of a justice-oriented and intercultural lens to create a community of belonging for Northeastern students. Workshop offerings can be taken as individual one offs to expand knowledge in a particular topic area or in sequential order with a cohort of learners to acquire a LIBRE Collective badge.

As outcomes of this program, students will able to:
1. Critically reflect on their multiple identities and confront their social positions in the systems we navigate.
2. Expand foundational knowledge and skills to engage interculturally and authentically with the Northeastern student community and work toward systems change.
3. Develop a social justice and identity conscious lens and adopt justice oriented values through a theory to practice action project.

Intended audience:
1. Northeastern student leaders of organizations and initiatives.
2. Northeastern students interested in becoming peer educators of social justice frameworks and identity- based leadership development.

The LIBRE curriculum schedule is as follows (all workshops will be held virtually):
Workshop 1: Thursday, February 3: Historical Overview of Power, Privilege, and Oppression
Workshop 2: Thursday, February 17: Intercultural Communication
Workshop 3: Thursday, February 24: Intersectionality, Interdependence, and Collective Liberation
Workshop 4: Thursday, March 24: Unpacking Bias and Microaggressions
Workshop 5: Thursday, April 7: Trauma Informed Difficult Conversations
Workshop 6: Thursday, April 21: Allyship and  White Supremacy
