GECAMET survey on maritime labour and MLC
Dear Stakeholder of the maritime industry,

Seafaring careers are highly essential because more than 80% of the world cargo is transported by sea. Currently, there are several concerns related to seafaring careers. There is a large gender gap in the maritime transport sector. Many women seafarers are refused employment on board ships. The following research questionnaire has the purpose to investigate effective solutions for such concerns.

Your opinion will be anonymous and will count on resolving gender issues in shipping and on updating the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC), issued by the International Labour Organization.
