The Business Development Advisory Committee (BDAC) is a
community-driven partnership focused on creating and disseminating information
about the commercial planning and building processes. Committee members include
staff from government agencies, non-profits, and local business professionals.
BDAC is currently creating a toolkit with resources to help
business owners navigate the permitting, building, and occupancy processes. The
committee feels it is crucial that the toolkit covers a wide spectrum of
business needs and experiences, and we are asking our local business community
to share their experience with us. It is extremely helpful for the committee to
learn more about the early steps that business owners take, the professionals
they work with during the process, and the challenges they encounter along the
way. The more the committee learns from the businesses in our community, the
more thorough the educational materials will be.
This survey will likely take 10-20 minutes, depending on how
detailed your answers are. You are welcome to remain anonymous, or you have the
option to provide your contact information if you are open to a follow up from
committee members for additional information about your survey response.
