Honey Atmosphere Aplication form
The aim of the project is to gain the widest knowledge about bees and their effects. The participants will learn from each other by learning and using the knowledge gained during the beekeeping workshops. The project aims to provide a wide audience with knowledge about bee work and its effects, as well as the consequences of interfering in the environment and disregarding the laws of nature. Participants will learn about the principles and methods of work of beekeepers in the partner country and methods of bee protection. The aim is also to improve language skills. English will be the main language during the exchange. Participants will also be able to learn phrases related to beekeeping in Polish.
The activities will be implemented through :
*workshops with a specialist in the field of beekeeping - the role of bees in the environment and methods of their protection;
* meeting with the chairman of the beekeeping association in Wałbrzych.
*creating mini bee hotels and honey plants;
*creation of a photo and report exhibition showing the effects of the project and its implementation, the main theme will be: the impact of pollinating insects on the environment.
*developing a brochure (in electronic form) promoting the idea of appropriate pro-ecological attitudes on the example of bees.
*an integration campfire with games
* creating a Facebook fanpage of the project, which will be updated every day.
The main result of the project will be to draw social attention to the problem of environmental degradation, the possibilities of bee protection, their work and the importance of bees in human life. The project will also result in the possibility of local community participation in organized workshops on beekeeping and nutritional values of honey. Above all, however, the aim will be to show that through joint activities on the international level, much can be achieved and contribute to raising awareness of the importance of nature in human life.
Accommodation and implementation of the project will take place in the city of Walbrzych.
Age of participants 17-20, but it is possible that the age limit is from 17-30
