SWOP-USA is hosting a day long sex worker summit on Thursday, August 15th . We are developing twotracks that are tailored to our cohort: policy and organizing. The goal is to better equip grassroots sexworker activists for community organizing and engaging in local and federal policies that impact ourwellbeing and safety. This institute is only open to current and former sex workers.
This institute will in-part focus on agitating for the decriminalization of sex work, however we alsobelieve in a world beyond decriminalization, that includes economic and racial justice, and thedismantling of the prison industrial complex.
