Our venue has strict capacity limits that we need to adhere to and we have currently reached out limit so registration for 2024 is now closed. However we encourage you to use this form to submit your name and email so that we can send you the information and registration form next year.

We are very excited to announce that for the 2024 SSIF Education Day, we will be partnering with BMO and the Museum of History and hosting the one day only event (Wednesday June 19th) at the Museum of History at 100 Laurier Ave. Gatineau
Join us for FREE performances and artist demonstrations that share and celebrate the diverse Indigenous cultures of Canada. All of our programming is designed to support the curriculum for all grades, encourage interaction and engagement with our Indigenous artists and knowledge keepers who will help bring the curriculum to life in a fun, authentic and appropriate way.
We encourage public and private schools as well homeschool groups and small classes to register!
DATE; Wednesday June 19th
HOURS; Program will begin at 9:00am and finish at 1:45pm (bus drop off can begin at 8:45am)
LOCATON; Museum of History, 100 Laurier Ave. Gatineau
Bilingual programming will be offered this year.
There will be a limited number of vendors with arts, crafts and food available for purchase. Please encourage your students to explore and support our vendors. Most programming will be held indoors with a few program elements held outdoors.
Each group/class will be assigned an area within the museum to leave bags and belongings. Please note that this area will not be supervised by staff so we advise that you do not leave anything valuable.
We will send you more information closer to the date about the programming being offered, arrival/departure information. No pre-registration needed for programing, you can walk around and join any of the programming that is of interest to your group.
