The Arc was built by Chippenham Borough Lands Charity (CBLC) and is operated by TCA. CBLC offers discounted sessions to allow local individuals and groups to take part. As part of their relationship with TCA, certain groups registered in the parish of Chippenham may apply for free session or discounted instructed climbing sessions at The Arc.
Eligibility is determined by CBLC. If you think that your group is deserving of discounted or free sessions, apply now using the form below. All bookings require a minimum of 2 weeks notice from the time you have received a response of eligibility.
CLIMBING SESSIONS
There are a number of different sessions available. Within 5 working days of application, we will notify you via email from arcbookings@theclimbingacademy.com to let you know whether you are eligible for free and or discounted sessions. We will then follow this up to confirm your session. Please check your spam or get in touch if you haven’t heard from us after 5 days.
FREE SESSIONS
– For youth groups only.
– Eligible youth groups can get up to 1 free session every 6 months at The Arc.
– A free session consists of 1 instructor, for 1hr, for up to 9 participants.
– You only need to register once.
DISCOUNTED SESSIONS
First visit
– For all eligible groups.
– Just £35 for 1 instructor, for 1hr, for up to 9 participants.
Repeat visits
– £35 for 1 instructor, for 1hr, for up to 9 participants.
– PLUS an additional £5 per person
For each of these sessions, you may bring more than 9 participants but there will be charges. Please note that instructors are limited to teaching 9 participants, so for every additional 9 participants there will be a cost of £35 to cover an additional instructor.
