Submit a Talk Idea. We're looking for 5 to 60-minute talks on any subject related to AI Risks, Safety, or Ethics.

Our Aim Rooted in the Effective Altruism movement, our community aims to raise awareness of AI Safety and democratise knowledge on the topic.

Instructions & What to Expect

  1. Submit your talk idea, it's okay if you don't have ALL the specifics just give us a rough idea
  2. Volunteers who work with local partners help you to find and promote your talk
  3. We aim to schedule your talk within 1-3 months. In the meantime, please come to one of our scheduled events and introduce yourself!

Community Guidelines

  • Focus on Knowledge, Not Sales: We are a community for academic awareness and social entrepreneurship. Please refrain from advertising companies, products, or paid courses. Keep recommendations free and open source where ever possible!
  • Cite your Sources: Please provide links or citations where possible. (Bonus Points if you publish your talk)
  • Provide Actionable Steps: Offer your audience clear, practical next steps. For example, "Turn off this specific privacy setting" or "Here is a specific real world example I'll walk you through" is more helpful than "Follow this 9-step framework" or "Let's do a demo"
