Portable Air Purifiers for Mosques, Islamic Schools and Community Centres - Needs Assessment
The Canadian Muslim COVID-19 Task Force (CMCTF) is looking into acquiring portable HEPA air purifiers (inshaAllah for FREE) for interested Canadian mosques, Islamic schools and community centres. These systems have been shown to improve air quality, reduce allergens and odours, reduce circulating viruses and specifically reduce the risk of spread of COVID-19.

We are amidst the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic driven by the highly transmissible Delta variant, with schools reopening soon and heading into the fall and winter months where more time is spent indoors and it is harder to open windows. Maximizing ventilation as much as possible within our facilities will provide long-lasting improved air quality for years, provide an additional layer of protection from COVID-19 to all in attendance, and hopefully allow operations and services to continue uninterrupted InshaAllah.

The following information will help us determine your needs when it comes to air purifiers, along with helping us establish a priority list.
During the course of the pandemic, have you had your facility's ventilation system inspected or reviewed by an HVAC professional, made upgrades or changes to improve ventilation at your facility? *
How many rooms do you have in total at your facility, that are open to the general public and require a portable air purifier? *
For each of the above rooms, please list the following: room purpose, approximate square footage size and the current number of persons at a time e.g. Room 1 (classroom) - 1000 sqft - 25 persons; Room 2 (Prayer area) - 3000 sqft - 75 persons. *
What is your best estimate for what percentage of your community/those in attendance are fully vaccinated? *
