The Twin Cities ACM Chapter is excited to announce a Student Project Showcase as part of CADSCOM 2024. The Showcase will be an opportunity for students to showcase their projects and connect with industry professionals.
If you have a project that you wish to be considered for the showcase, please fill out the following registration form by October 20
, 2024.
Project Showcase Requirements:- To participate in the showcase, students must submit a 2-3 minute video about their project. The video should be uploaded to YouTube and the URL should be submitted with the online registration form. The video should highlight the key aspects of the project.
- Participants must be available from noon–3 pm on November 9 to present their projects (in-person). CASDSCOM 2024 will be held at Minnesota State University's Edina location (7700 France Ave S; Edina, MN 55435). Google Maps Directions
- The projects should be related to the following fields: computer science, information technology, information systems, data science, cybersecurity, health informatics, business analytics, mathematics, statistics, or computer engineering. Projects from other disciplines are welcome if they utilize computing.
- Participants must bring their own laptops/monitors/equipment. Posters are encouraged and should be print size 36" x 48" using the CADSCOM poster template.
- Projects will be judged by industry professionals using a rubric that focuses on technical strength, clarity, creativity, and potential impact. The winners will be announced at the end of the CADSCOM event.
- For team projects, one student from the team should submit the form.
- There is no registration fee for the project showcase.
