I’m Welcome!
Southport Skating Club's Rising Stars Adaptive Skating Program thanks you for volunteering to teach ice skating!
The Rising Stars program accepts students ages 3-25 yrs old with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. Depending on the need, the program will pair 1-3 coaches per student for each class. At first, each new Volunteer Coach will be paired with a more experienced coach or two. The comfort level of our coaches is as important as the comfort of our students, so feedback is always welcome anytime before, during, or after each class.
