NGRRC New Project Request
As a reminder, the NGRRC prioritizes fulfillment of requests based on several criteria including new/early stage investigator status, funding source, affiliation with the UNC/NCSU CGIBD, relevance of project to inflammatory bowel disease, and time on the wait list. We will make every effort to fulfill new project requests.  However, due to finite resources and capacity of the facility, we may not be able to fulfill all aspects of a request in a timely manner.  The more flexible you can be with your request (sex, age, numbers, strain), the sooner the NGRRC can fulfill it. Currently, germ-free C57BL/6 mice are in highest demand and fulfilling requests for these mice typically takes longer (i.e. months) than for other less-commonly used strains such as BALB/c and 129/SvEv.

If you are requesting to derive a new mouse strain into germ-free conditions, DO NOT fill out this form.  Instead, please access the proper form here.

If you are requesting to participate in the gnotobiotic training course offered at UNC, DO NOT fill out this form.  Instead, please access the proper form here.

If you are requesting mice from a colony that you have already contracted with the UNC NGRRC to maintain, DO NOT fill out this form.  Instead, please submit an Infoporte request directly.
