ASWD Uplift Application

*Note: Because our inventory is donation based the selection is limited.  Please check out our store either in person or online at https://aswdetroit.my.salesforce-sites.com/inventory BEFORE filling out the application to get an idea of the items we have to offer.  You are more likely to be awarded materials if you are requesting specific materials that are in our warehouse that you know will work for your project.  

Items that we do NOT carry: paint, full sheets of drywall, vinyl/aluminum siding, upholstered furniture, beds, bedding, clothing, textiles, carpet rolls, and food.  

Items that are not salvageable such as shingles, pex, electrical wiring, insulation, ducting, etc, will likely IF available will only be in small quantities, not enough for a full home.  

Most of the items that we have to offer are used and will be granted in "as in" condition.  ASWD does not provide installation or contracting services, nor will it supply all of the materials that you may need to complete your project or install your items.  You should consult with who will be installing the items you are requesting to ensure that the items will meet your needs and work for your home.  

Once the form is submitted, our Uplift Program Manager will contact you to discuss your request IF we have items in our current inventory that may meet your requests and all other requirements are met. At this time we will also advise you on any necessary documentation. Requested documentation may include, but is not limited to, identification, tax documents, project photos, leases/deeds, etc.



Once approved, you will be contacted by the Uplift Program Manager to review program policies and procedures, source items, and arrange for pick-up or delivery of materials. Grants will be awarded in the form of specific items.
