Community and a sense of belonging is an important part of finding balance and healing our relationships with food. Maria-Lourdes (Malou) Aragon, RD and Liz Brinkman, RD are working in collaboration to offer a space to undo aloneness. A Place to Land, Virtual Group has the intention of creating a space that offers security in the face of grief and assurance on the path to healing and flourishing.  We look forward to partnering with you!

This scale is intended to be a map, inviting each person to take inventory of their financial resources and look deeper at their levels of privilege or systemic barriers. It is a way to work towards economic justice as a community and another avenue of creating health equity, a factor that contributes to eating disorder recovery. Our goal is to create a way for everyone to fully participate and the hosts are compensated fairly.

"Desert Willow Tree" Offering:
If most of these attributes apply to you, we recommend the $180 ($30/session) option:
- supporting children/elders or other dependents
- have significant debt including uncovered medical expenses
- receive public assistance
- work is unavailable or challenging due to immigration or incarceration status-
- currently or recently experiencing housing instability
- primarily use a currency in a country that has been historically exploited by the Global North

"Blue Palo Verde Tree" Offering:
If most of these attributes apply to you, we recommend the $270 ($45/session) option:
- rent your home
- have moderate debt & budget your finances
- completed high school and/or college
- are a citizen/documented permanent resident of the country you live in
- have some money in savings or retirement accounts

"Velvet Mesquite Tree" Offering:
If most of these attributes apply to you, I recommend the $360 ($60/session) option:
- are single/with or without dependents
- own your home
- have investments, retirement accounts, and/or inherited wealth
- travel recreationally (non-COVID times)
- are a citizen/documented permanent resident of the country you live in
- your education and/or experiences were paid for by your parents, grandparents, or other relatives/connections
- friends and family could provide support in times of financial need or transitions
