We require at least 3 days' notice for all custom orders. 7 days' notice is required for cakes with elaborate decorations and for all sugar-free cakes. There will be a $25 charge for rush or last-minute orders. NOTE: AT THIS TIME CAKE ORDERS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PICK-UP ONLY.

When placing an order, there will be a non-refundable deposit required (50%) or payment in full in order to secure your order and date requested. If payment is not made within 24 hours from the time your invoice is sent, your order WILL be canceled and will not be reissued. Your order is not complete until payment has been made and cleared. Once your order has been confirmed, there will be no changes. So be sure to include as much detail as possible. Deposit refunds will not be made for cancellations of any kind, but will be applied to your order as a credit in the event that a change of date occurs due to family emergency.

REFUNDS: We promise to do our best to provide the best-tasting & best-looking gluten-free/vegan cakes around. Custom orders are created with love by our talented staff just for you. Please keep in mind that no two pieces of art made by people are ever exactly alike. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide full refunds or exchanges of custom cakes in most cases.

Once a cake has been picked up by you or a designated party it is considered "Accepted". All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our shop.
Refunds requested due to decorating style, color shade or general decoration design, or minor design discrepancies will not be honored.
In some cases you may qualify for a partial refund or store credit if the product is brought back to us and the quality of the cake flavor or texture is determined not to meet our standards. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of Mindful Baking.
NOTE: We will NOT negotiate a partial refund if you keep the cake. This is a “take it, or leave it” policy.
