In order to be considered for the upcoming Katherine Albiani Middle School Leadership & Yearbook Staff for the 2018-2019 school year, this application must be completed independently by the student applicant and turned in before the end of the application time period. Each school has a 2 week period. The time begins on the day the counselors come to your school and you sign up for 7th grade classes.

All applications are done electronically. Teacher recommendation forms from your 5th grade and 6th grade teachers will be electronically sent as part of the application process. If your application is completed (in full), meets the scoring requirements, and is submitted by the deadline, you may be considered as a Leadership & Yearbook candidate. There are limited spots in each program, therefore, the students who score the highest earn a spot in these programs.

To finish your application you must do the following. Please create a flyer that can be used to publicize a dance using google documents and share it with Donna McNeel and Christina Hills. You must follow these guidelines. Please submit by the due date stated at the top of this electronic application. Here are the directions: *
The flyer must include: Date: May 23, 2018 Time: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Cost: $8 w/ ASB $12 w/o ASB and $15 the day of Dance Theme: “Moonlight Masquerade” Free Refreshments, photo booth and a special gift Format information: • Paper needs to be 8 ½ ” x 11” • Follow the 3 C’s: clear, concise, and creative • Include all the information. The flyer you create could be used to publicize an upcoming actual event. Use this activity to demonstrate your various abilities. It will be scored as part of your application process.
KAMS 7th Leadership/Yearbook Essay: Included in your application will be a 50 word minimum essay answering ONE of the three prompts below. Please type your response and submit to Donna McNeel or Christina Hills by using Google Docs. *
