Tranquil City and Outlandish Cooperative want to hear from you! We are keen to understand how data can better support City Authorities, Local/Neighbourhood Authorities, NGOs, Urban Planners and Land Developers to make progress towards the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals!(https://sdgs.un.org/goals)

Tranquil City is a multi-disciplinary environmental data collective whose mission is to transform urban data into meaningful interventions that benefit people and the planet. Outlandish Co-operative is a worker owned tech co-operative that are focussed on delivering technical solutions to help create a fairer, more sustainable world.

Innovate UK have awarded our organisations funding to help explore and develop new ways for how our geospatial data can help support strategic urban planning, site and intervention planning, and evaluation of impact towards three specific SDGs:

Good Health & Wellbeing (SDG 3)
Sustainable Cities & Communities (SDG 11)
Life on Land (SDG 15)

We have some big ideas about how our data can help make healthier, more sustainable cities where nature and people can thrive. But we need your input to understand where this data is most effective and how it should be presented and used within the policy, planning and design process.

This initial survey will ask some high-level questions on how each of the SDGs are relevant for your city and discipline and if you've experienced any challenges with trying to measure progress. Your insights will be invaluable to informing the next stage of the experiment process.

We are hoping to bring a select few of you along in our journey to test design ideas, create environmental data packs for your city and arrive at a solution that measures and informs how positive change can be achieved.
