Hello Members of the San Diego Refugee Forum,  

The SD Refugee Forum would like to honor refugees and asylees/asylum seekers nominated by Forum members at our June meeting and at our World Refugee Day Celebration on June 24th in celebration of World Refugee Day 2023. We are asking each Forum member (organization or individual) to nominate one individual who is a refugee or an asylee/asylum seeker who has been in the United States for five years or less who has made a contribution to your agency and/or to their community. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of refugees and asylees/asylum seekers in our community. The awardees will receive certificates and a $100 gift certificate in celebration. A SDRF Committee will select 3 winners. The other nominees will receive certificates from our elected official offices to be recognized for their achievements.
