News Impact Project — Impactful Story Submission
Thank you for your participation in the News Media Alliance's News Impact Project!

We're on a mission to demonstrate the importance of local news — and drive support for local publishers — by building an encyclopedia of impactful stories — stories you've produced and published — that members of local communities would not have learned had it not been for their local news organizations (you!)

We want the stories that can be labeled by journalists as, “Just doing our jobs.” It doesn't have to have won a Pulitzer — it just has to have had a positive impact on the community.

To Enter: Please fill out the form below with your original news and opinion piece. We'll notify you if your work is to be featured in the News Impact Project.

Rules:

— Newsrooms and individuals may submit articles for consideration.
— Newsrooms and individuals may submit more than one article.
— Submissions are being accepted on an ongoing basis. The newsrooms/individuals whose articles are selected to be featured will be notified by the Alliance prior to being featured.
— Examples of acceptable articles include news and opinion articles that are the original work of the submitting individual or organization. Sponsored content is not eligible for this program.

Should you wish to provide supplemental information, or if you have any questions, please email Alliance Reporter, Trends & Insights, Jennifer Peters at jennifer@newsmediaalliance.org.

We look forward to showcasing the valuable work you're doing in your communities!
