Guadalupe House Transitional Housing Application

Guadalupe House is a part of the Tacoma Catholic Worker, which is an intentional community that has been active in creating a welcoming and peaceful place in our urban neighborhood for over 25 years.

Guadalupe House offers transitional housing to those transitioning out of homelessness, incarceration, and detention. We offer an individual room as well as appoint two staff to walk with each guests as they work towards their goals.

Things to know about our program:
- We ask everyone to follow house rules, be working towards their goals, as well as participate in chores.
- We have weekly individual contact meeting to check in with their two support staff. We also ask that everyone participate in a monthly house meeting.
- We are a peaceful house. We do not allow threats or any acts of violence.
- We are a clean and sober house, so we ask guests to abstain from drugs and alcohol during their stay (on and off property).
