Urge FERC to Halt Pipeline Approvals During COVID-19

Please join me in sending the following letter to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), urging the Commission to issue a moratorium on the approval and construction of new pipelines and Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) export facilities during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

FERC’s already inadequate public participation process has become even more impossible to navigate during this time of great uncertainty. A moratorium on pipeline approvals would help ensure that our constituents are not excluded from the decision-making process and would protect our environment while federal agencies are curbing regulatory enforcement.
