RFP: Accelerating Credit Conference
Submit your proposal to lead a breakout session at the Accelerating Credit Conference scheduled for April 26 in East Lansing. Proposals are being sought from districts, schools and their partners that are successfully running programs where students are earning college credit while in high school such as: Middle/Early College, Dual Enrollment, Articulated Credit, Certificated Programs, Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate.

In addition, conference organizers are interested in highlighting credit acceleration programs that also include one or more of the following factors:

o True partnership models between K-12 districts and post-secondary institutions
o Demonstration of innovation
o Models that have demonstrated success in terms of graduation rate, credits earned and/or a high pass rate
o Programs that are able to be replicated in many areas of the state
o Programs proven to reduce the achievement gap
o Initiatives that have engaged at-risk student populations

Proposals are due by 5 pm on March 15, 2018.

The Accelerating Credit Conference is being done in partnership with MASA, MAISA, MASSP, MASU, MCCA, and MICU.
