Community Kickoff to the Convergence at Everett Station Study
The neighborhood of Everett Station is a convergence zone of roads and transit, industry and commerce, community and history. Now it's time to plan for the convergence of our past+present with the future.
Building off the City's and ESDA's previous planning efforts and looking towards Sound Transit's Everett Link Extension, Housing Hope is studying a potential new project with market-rate and affordable housing, community spaces, workspaces, and a public plaza across from Everett Station. This study is funded by the Washington State Department of Commerce and J.P. Morgan Chase Foundation. At the request of the City of Everett, the effort will also analyze potential options for the future of the City's properties along Cedar Street.
Together, Housing Hope is working to catalyze an equitable, sustainable, and livable community near the future light rail station — one that complements and preserves today's industrial businesses in the broader neighborhood.
Your thoughts are needed to achieve a shared vision. Everett Station District Alliance is leading the community engagement to ensure robust public and stakeholder input in the planning process.
Join us on Wednesday, October 21, 10–11:30 a.m. for the Community Kickoff to learn about the study and how you can help shape it.
The meeting will be held by Zoom. RSVP to receive login information to the kickoff.
