Play research about someone with Fibromyalgia
Hi, my name is Sophie I suffered from Fibromyalgia & CFS for about 24 years before I fully recovered, some of you might know me through my Youtube Channel ‚The Puzzle of Healing‘ or the interview with Raelan.


Now I would like to use my voice as a writer to create a play about a character who gets diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and to show the impact it has on her life. 


Ideally, I want this play to be an immersive experience with a mix of information about the condition, spaces to reflect and spaces where the play takes place. It is early stages I will see how it all develops. 


In a way, this is your story too and I would love to hear from you and to take your voices into account.


This is a short survey to hear what would be important to you in a play like this but also to hear some of your experiences you feel comfortable sharing.


It is absolutely fine if you don't feel like answering all questions I am happy about every input.

1. What would you wish from a play about a character with Fibromyalgia? What would you hope to see?
2. Is there an experience you feel like sharing I may then potentially use anonymously? It could be any experience, how it started, the moment of diagnosis, encounters with stigma, challenges, but also positive things like moments of improvement, adjustment etc.
* To clarify what I mean by use, I might just take inspiration from it and re-write it in a different version that fits the play, if your story contains snippets of something someone said I might use it as you quoted it, I might not use it at all. If you have any further questions about this please get in touch. In any case, I will not reveal who you are, I will not use any identifying information such as places, names, job descriptions etc.
3. As mentioned above I would like this to be an immersive experience that helps audience members learn more about what it feels like to live with an invisible illness. Or what it feels like to support someone with it. Would you potentially be interested in participating in audio-only interviews?Would you potentially agree to have your photo included to showcase the invisible nature of this illness? 
*If you are interested you will receive detailed information on how it would be used, and you will be asked again if you would still be interested once you have all details about it.
