WE WANT YOU THERE! The annual Westchester 4th of July parade is one of our favorite events of the year as it brings together all of our families and students from across the three grade spans. So please join WISH for a ride on the float (first come, first seated until full) or walking, riding, scootering etc. beside us as we walk down Loyola Blvd. Wave to our community members and friends you see along the way and march along with the WISH OWL! Every community member is welcome to join us on the parade route. Please sign up so we know how many people we might expect!
Important FAQ's:
- Total walking time is about 15 minutes.
- Distance is 3/4 of a mile.
- Departure time is still TBD but families are asked to arrive around 10:30 am. (TO BE CONFIRMED)
- Attire is to be in conjunction with the float's theme - bumble bees, crickets, butterflies and ladybugs are all welcome. Get creative and dress up for fun!
- If not on theme with the parade float, we ask everyone to wear WISH RED!
- Bring water, hats, and sunscreen just in case!
- WISH will provide Ice-Pops for all student participants to keep the cool along the way!
WISH Students in grades 6 - 12 will earn service hours for participating in the parade! Please confirm your participation by filling out the document below.
