We will bring together experts from South and Southeast Asia for a cross-country comparison of the impact of the platform economy on women’s labour force participation and how “platformisation” of work affects women’s earning opportunities and empowerment.

This event is a part of the Women, Work, and the Gig Economy - a collaborative research initiative supported by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC Canada).
