Applicants most likely to be matched with a Woof Project dog meet one or more of the following criteria:
  • Have experience, if applying for a Malinois or similar, with Malinois or other high-drive working breeds.
  • Have secure fencing or a solid plan for managing a dog without one. 
  • Willingness to seek professional training as needed. 
  • Reside within our main service area: CA, OR, WA, ID, UT, NV, MT, CO, WY, TX, AZ, AK, and parts of southwestern to south-central Canada. (other areas within the contiguous US are considered on a case-by-case basis. We do not place dogs in HI.)
