Description - read carefully
This course is valuable for all caregivers. It is an introductory training that is geared towards parents and adults who care for youth. Participants will learn how to protect youth and recognize signs of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
Some topics that will be covered include:
- Vulnerabilities
- Safety planning with youth
- Healthy relationships
- Online safety
- Red flags behaviors

This presentation discusses human trafficking and refers to abuse, violence, other potentially upsetting content related to victimization. Pay close attention to your body and emotions.  If at any time you need to take a break or step outside of the room, you will have the freedom to do so.
