🌍 ADAPTING THE OECD EVALUATION CRITERIA TO THE EVALUATION OF HUMANITARIAN ACTION
This session explores how to measure the success and impact of humanitarian action using adapted evaluation criteria tailored to increasingly complex and protracted contexts. Drawing on ALNAP’s 2025 guide, Adapting the OECD Criteria for Humanitarian Action Evaluation, it introduces seven key criteria—relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, coherence, coverage and inclusion, and inter-connection—along with updated definitions and practical guidance. Through a mix of theory and interactive exercises, participants will gain insights into applying these criteria and addressing key challenges in evaluating humanitarian interventions.
