MWALLT 2018 Fall Conference - Call for Hub Hosting Proposals
The Midwest Association for Language Learning Technology (MWALLT) will hold its 2018 conference on October 13, 2018. Proposals are sought for sessions on topics relating to the teaching of languages and cultures using technology. This conference will be of particular interest to all K-12 and post-secondary language instructors, to individuals affiliated with media centers or language labs, and to individuals interested in any facet of language learning technology.

While the conference will allow remote attendees to ask questions and participate in discussions, we also want to provide a networking opportunity for those not able to attend at one of the host sites. Universities or language centers at least four hours from all of the host sites are invited to volunteer to host a “hub”, which will participate virtually in the conference and also provide some structure for social interaction outside of the presentations. Hubs must be able to provide at least two rooms capable of receiving and projecting the video feeds from the host sites.

Deadline: DEADLINE EXTENDED - September 15, 2018

For more information on the conference, see: http://mwallt.org/

The contact person for each proposal will receive confirmation after submission. If you do not receive confirmation of your submission, please contact johnshoy@umn.edu. Notification of proposal acceptance will be emailed to the contact person by September 17.

Thank you for your willingness to host a hub!
