The Refuge Church Volunteer Form
Thank you for signing up to volunteer! We are creating a volunteer schedule for December - February. Please read the role descriptions below, and fill out the form below to let us know your availability and areas of interest. DUE: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4th.
    • Setup / Teardown - Our Setup and Teardown Team sets the stage for ministry to happen at our Sunday morning services. We are a portable church, which means that all our equipment must be unloaded from the trailer and set up for the service, then disassembled and loaded back on to the trailer after. Setup Team arrives by 8:30AM. Teardown Team finishes by 12:00PM.
    • Hall Monitor (new!) - Provide a safe environment for our worship service and children’s ministries by monitoring the facility’s entrances and hallways. Arrive by 9:40AM.
    • Welcome Table - Help us welcome attendees to our church at the Welcome Table. Find opportunities to connect with both visitors and regular attenders as they enter for the service. Answer questions about The Refuge or our worship space with provided information & resources. Arrive by 9:40AM.
    • Children's Check-In - Our Check-In Attendant welcomes families and children, checking them in for their programs and answering any questions they may have about our children’s ministries. Arrive by 9:40AM.
    • Nursery - Our Nursery Attendants reflect God’s care by providing a safe and nurturing environment for infants to 3-year-olds during the worship service. The adult-to-child ratio is at least 1 to 4. Arrive by 9:40AM.
    • Sunday School Teacher - Introduce children to the Gospel by leading a Bible story, discussion, and an activity. Lesson plans and materials are organized and provided in advance by our Sunday School Coordinator. Sunday School takes place during the sermon. Arrive by 9:30AM. 
    • Sunday School Assistant - Help create a safe and fun learning environment by encouraging participation and assisting the Sunday School Teacher where needed. Sunday School takes place during the sermon. Arrive by 9:40AM.
    • Tech Assistant - The Tech Assistant aides our Tech Lead with AV functions, facilitating the lyric & sermon slideshow during the service, and cross-checking slides for errors. Arrive by 8:30AM.
    • Worship - Alongside the Worship Pastor, use your instruments and/or voice to lead others into a worshipful encounter with God and his gospel through song, prayer, and liturgy. Arrive by 8:30AM.
