This year's conference theme is "Bend Together: Strengthening Oregon's Advising Communities”, which we hope captures unity and resilience in the face of the challenges and changes in higher education today. As advising communities navigate shifting landscapes, we aim to foster conversations that explore how we can support each other, adapt to ambiguity, and strengthen our collective impact. By focusing on collaboration, equity, and inclusion, we envision a space where advising professionals come together to share strategies, build stronger connections, and work toward a more inclusive and supportive environment for all students.

Please complete the following form to submit a conference proposal for OAAA's Annual Conference, which will be hosted at Central Oregon Community College, Friday, May 30th. Selected proposal presenters will have their registration fee waived. Deadline to submit your proposal is April 6th, 11:59pm.

Does your presentation include a focus on promoting antiracism, social justice, accessibility, and/or inclusive environments? Could you share some details on how these themes will be incorporated into your presentation?

We encourage you to reflect and brainstorm on how your presentation could include these important factors, especially if there were not part of your initial presentation.

State your presentation's objectives clearly and describe how they will be met: eg. materials, methods and activities you plan to use. You may wish to discuss how the presentation incorporates the core competency and track you previously identified.
