Op 21 en 22 juni organiseert de Tegentopcoalitie voor Vrede en Rechtvaardigheid in Den Haag een protest en tegentop tegen de NAVO, vlak voor de NAVO-top van 24-25 juni. De coalitie, bestaande uit organisaties en activisten, verzet zich tegen de militarisering van Europa en de wereld. Terwijl de NAVO-leiders plannen maken voor hogere defensie-uitgaven, klinkt er een krachtig tegengeluid: miljarden voor wapens verergeren onveiligheid, ondermijnen sociale rechtvaardigheid en versnellen de klimaatcrisis.
Wat staat er op het programma?
21 juni: Tegentop met paneldiscussies, workshops en lezingen over NAVO’s militarisering en alternatieven voor duurzame vrede. De tegentop is een unieke kans voor activisten uit het binnen- en buitenland om samen te komen en met elkaar te bouwen aan een beweging voor vrede en rechtvaardigheid.
22 juni, 14:00 in Den Haag: Op zondag 22 juni demonstreren wij voor vrede en rechtvaardigheid. Voor een wereld waarin niet langer de geopolitieke belangen van een paar rijke landen centraal staan, maar de veiligheid van ons allemaal.

Via dit formulier kun jij jezelf en je organisatie inschrijven voor de Tegentop op 21 juni. We hebben 200 plekken voor deelnemers uit Nederland. Kijk op www.tegentopcoalitie.nl voor alle inhoudelijke informatie.
Financiële bijdrage
Organiseren kost geld, de richtbijdrage per persoon is 25 euro en is inclusief koffie, thee en lunch. Om deelname voor iedereen toegankelijk te houden is minder of meer bijdragen naar draagkracht is mogelijk.

On June 21 and 22, the Counter-Summit Coalition for Peace and Justice in The Hague is organizing a protest and counter-summit against NATO, just before the NATO summit on June 24–25. The coalition, made up of organizations and activists, opposes the militarization of Europe and the world. While NATO leaders plan for higher defense spending, a powerful counter-message is being heard: billions spent on weapons worsen insecurity, undermine social justice, and accelerate the climate crisis.
What’s on the agenda?
June 21: Counter-Summit – Featuring panel discussions, workshops, and lectures on NATO’s militarization and alternatives for sustainable peace. The counter-summit is a unique opportunity for activists from the Netherlands and abroad to come together and build a movement for peace and justice.
June 22, 14:00 in The Hague: On Sunday, June 22, we will march for peace and justice—for a world where the geopolitical interests of a few wealthy nations no longer take center stage, but rather the security of all of us.

Financial Contribution
Organizing events costs money. The suggested contribution is €25 per person, which includes coffee, tea, and lunch. To ensure participation remains accessible to everyone, you may contribute less or more based on your financial capacity.
