Using Daily-Level Assessment Methods to Understand Female-Specific Vulnerability to Anxiety and Smoking

On August 11th, the MAAC Lab and Centre for Addiction Research at Dal (CARD) is pleased to be hosting a guest lecturer: Dr. Samantha Farris.

Location: ROOM # 5260 - 5th Floor Department of Psychology, Life Sciences Centre (LSC) Room 5208

 Dr. Farris is an Associate Professor, Department of Psychology, Department of Medicine, RWJ Medical School (Adjunct), at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.  Dr. Farris's work focuses on how and way anxiety and fear impact physical health and risk behaviours, topics many of our lab members are familiar with from their own work and interests.  Learn more about Dr. Farris's work here: Samantha Farris.

Attending in-person provides great opportunities for interaction and dialogue with guest lecturers, other lab guests attending the lecture, as well as your peers.  Beverages, fruit and muffins will be available before the lecture.  Those outside of Halifax will be provided a link to join virtually.
