Saturday, September 30th ~ 8:30 - 12:30; Dent Middle School Join educators from around the state for an exciting day of professional development! This unique experience will allow you to request selected professional development session to be brought to you and your school for no additional cost. Topics will all address educating the whole child!
Session Topics - to include, but not limited to:
● Standards based lessons to incorporating the whole child & interactive
instructional strategies
● Conducive learning environments, positive culture, & brain based strategies
● “Why did you fail me? Making the case for mastery” the need for multiple attempts
in learning, personalized learning, and making failure a F.A.I.L.
● “Different is the New “Normal” - hands-on simulations in which the teacher can
walk in our students’ shoes
● A Equals B Every Single Time: consistency, routine, and structure in the
classroom
