The future of healthcare in Sutton
St Helier Hospital is safe and here to stay, with A&E and Maternity services still being provided locally. Now the Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust now wants Sutton residents to have their say on how best to improve overall healthcare in our area. It has plans to invest up to £400 million to build a brand-new, purpose-built acute facility but needs to show there is local support for this.
