InVenture Challenge 2017 Judges' Application
Description and Commitment
Thank you for applying to be a judge at the 2017 K-12 InVenture Challenge! We expect over 80 student teams across elementary, middle, and high schools throughout Georgia to be showcasing their inventions on March 15, 2017 at the Georgia Tech Student Center.

Your time commitment will be from 10:30AM-1:30 PM. From 10:30AM-11:30AM, we will have a welcome reception with light refreshments and an overview of the judging process. Judging will take place from 11:30AM-1:30PM. Awards will take place from 2PM-2:30PM (you are welcome to stay but it is not required.)

Student projects will be judged electronically using your mobile phone or other web-enabled device. Student projects will be judged on the following metrics: 1) Practicality 2) Knowledge Base 3) Design-Based Thinking 4) Creativity 5) Marketability 6) Social Responsibility 7) Communication & Enthusiasm and 8) Manufacturability.
