NVME May 8, 2020 Marketing Mini-grant Pitch Application for Businesses in Cumberland & York Counties
Please answer the questions below and submit the completed application by 12:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2020. PLEASE NOTE THE DEADLINE TIME OF 12:00 NOON. WE WILL NOTIFY YOU BY THEN END OF THE DAY OF YOUR PITCH TIME ON Friday, May 8, 2020.

The Marketing Mini-Grant Live Pitch Contest will be held on Friday, May 8, 2020, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at New Ventures Maine, 175 Main St., South Portland. Pitch slots are limited to 10 and are available on a first come, first served basis. You will be notified of your live 10 minute pitch time slot prior to the contest.

Pitches will be judged on the following criteria:
• Clarity of presentation- Are you able to clearly communicate the details of your project and how it fits into your overall marketing goals? What are your goals for your proposed project and why is it important?
• Specificity of project- What specific tasks will you accomplish in your marketing project? What is your timeline for completing your project? Clearly delineate the expenses of your project and how the grant funds will be utilized. Price quotes are encouraged.
• Benefit & impact on the business- How will this grant benefit and impact your business? Will it strengthen your brand? Extend your business connections? Help you reach new markets? How much increased revenue would this project allow?
• Quality of presentation - The overall strength of your presentation. Was your information clear and concise? Did the you get the judges excited about your project.
