Company Review Questionnaire by Talant.Tech
Most candidates, especially the senior and lead developers we work with, ask us a lot of questions about the companies we place them in. So we like to do what’s called a Company Review - a simple questionnaire that tells us everything we need to know about your company, so we can tell your candidates!

Please try to give a detailed information, as it significantly increase the chance to find the suitable fit and accelerate the search process

For example: Dropbox synchronizes files across your/your team's computers. It's much better than uploading or email, because it's automatic, integrated into Windows, and fits into the way you already work. Dropbox is kind of like takingthe best elements of subversion, trac and rsync and making them "just work" for the average individual or team. Or: Ourcompany is ... years old, we have ... customers and ... users. We built this with a small team of ... people. Most of all, weare proud of ...
What stage is the product at currently (MVP, Growth/Scale, etc.) and what platform is itcurrently operating (Mobile App, Website, SaaS, API, Open Source, Cloud, etc.)?
For example: We have the Android mobile app fully ready and the iOS app is 50% ready. We have 1,500 users
In as many words as you can, can you break down the long term, global task of your development team for the next 6-12: what is it you want to achieve and how do you see your developer team fitting into that?
For example: There are many interesting possible functions that we want to implement. In the next six months, we wantto implement ... functionality, improve on the platform ..., increase the speed of work ..., upgrade ..., enter a new market, create a new product, etc.
What exactly will this developer do from day one? Writing code from scratch or upgradingthe current code? Will they be supporting new features? We understand that their tasks willconstantly change, but we like to give our candidates an approximate reference point forwhat they will do in the next immediate 1-2 months *
For example: You will be working on ... tasks next few months. You will work together with our CTO Mike. You will have one middle developer and two junior developers under your command etc.
