Join the Howard County Local Health Improvement Coalition (HCLHIC) and local partners for a month of walk and move events in October called Walktober 2023, a celebration of our State’s official exercise and a call to action to promote walking for improved health for residents of all ages and abilities. Please note that the HCLHIC will not be hosting these events, but is promoting partner walk and move events to the community.

The proposed outcomes for HoCo Walktober 2023 are:
1. Month-long calendar of events in October that is accessible for all residents.
2. Increased participation and promotion of physical activity for improved physical and mental health.
