Academic Research Organization Consortium for Continuing Evaluation of Scientific Studies - Cardiovascular: The ACCESS CV Proposal
The International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) recently recommended that following publication of the main results from a trial, clinical trial data should be shared, including individual patient data (IPD).

As members of international Academic Research Organizations (AROs) engaged in cardiovascular research aimed at generating knowledge to improve human health, the Academic Research Organization Consortium for Continuing Evaluation of Scientific Studies - Cardiovascular: ACCESS CV group has been formed in response to these goals. ACCESS CV proposes a plan to share clinical trial data in a way that safeguards patient privacy while also embracing the ICMJE and IOM recommendations.
