In May 2022, UUSJ's Environmental Action Team (EAT) did structured meetings with select targets on funding the Green Climate Fund (GFC), a vital international effort to assist poorer countries reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help their people adapt to the worst effects of climate change. This effort was endorsed by UUMFE and UUJEC. See more:

1- Patrick Leahy (D-VT)
2- Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH)
3- Chris Murphy (D-CT),
4- Chris Van Hollen (D-MD)
5- Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
6- Roy Blunt (R-MO)
7- John Boozman (R-AR)
8- Jerry Moran (R-KS)
9- Bill Hagerty (R-TN).
UUSJ will provide updated materials if you join and the meeting is set. But you can start educating yourself with the following materials:

https://bit.ly/UUSJ-GCF-VideoDate and time details will be subject to having a sufficient constituent delegation and policy staff availability. Meetings will be pursued and set in response to these factors.
Ideally, we would have several constituents form each state, in addition to UUSJ EAT volunteers, so you are welcome to invite likeminded members of your state based network of relationships, to fill out this form. Consider filling out this meeting interest form, it will help UUSJ for this and future outings (if you opt-in for other topics).
Should we get the meeting, UUSJ staff -- or a member of the EAT -- will be in contact with you as details are finalized regarding a meeting with your state's Senator.
Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions-- thank you!
