The After School Chinese Immersion Program (AS-CIP) offers children a multi-level, natural environment to learn and surround themselves around Chinese language and culture. We offer introductory, beginner, and intermediate level Chinese classes with a low 8:1 student teacher ratio. For children who have not been exposed to the Chinese language, daily language immersion is an excellent opportunity for them to hear Chinese sounds spoken from native speakers and to pick up every day phrases and understanding of the Chinese language.

Children who have an active interest in learning a second language will enjoy the daily Chinese language lessons, from speaking to reading and writing. For those children who speak or have some Chinese language understanding or may be enrolled in “weekend Chinese school” , the AS-CIP is an excellent complement for additional Chinese practice, repetition and homework help on a daily basis that will help the child retain more Chinese language learning. This is not a day care program but an extended hours learning environment designed to help children gain knowledge in the Chinese language and culture where they are immersed in the language and are able to reinforce their Chinese language learning without even realizing they are learning new words, phrases and sounds. Each child is different and learns language at different rates but we strive to introduce and strengthen their Chinese language and culture no matter what level they are at.

3:35 pm ~  Arrival & Pre-work
4:00 pm ~ Chinese Language Lesson  
5:00 pm ~ Chinese Culture/Enrichment Class
6:00 pm Pickup

 DAYS OF OPERATION  

The AS-CIP program follows the MCPS school calendar and the MCPS inclement weather school closing policy. If MCPS cancels school, AS-CIP is closed. Due to emergency situations, if MCPS cancels school sponsored after school activities, then AS-CIP will also be closed.  AS-CIP also do not open on every early release day.

Current Students:

5 days/week (Monday-Friday): $345/month ( Before May 8th)& $350/month( After May 8th)
3 days/week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday): $265/month ( Before May 8th)& $260/month( After May 8th):
2 days/week (Tuesday & Thursday) :$225/month ( Before May 8th)& $240/month( After May 8th)

Non-refund Registration fee:
