Volunteer Areas - Select All Activities Of Interest
Remember several tasks can be done from home (i.e. database/administrative support, emails, programs flyers designs, technology support, and much more).
Committees & Activities
Bulletin Board - Help with design and layout of information for the bulletin board near the main entrance.
Community Outreach Drives - Help with bin setup, item collections and with getting items to the correct organization.
Cougar Run Prep- Help with purchasing prizes before Cougar Run .
Cougar Run Event Day - Help with passing out water on the day of the run.
Diversity and Inclusion - Help with committee initiatives (i.e. international day, monthly heritage celebrations, kindness week, and more)
Environmental Education/Earth Day - Help with Earth day related activities.
Events & Festival Support - Help with setup and promotions for family events and major festivals.
Family Engagement - Help with Spirit Night, STEM Expose, and other scheduled events throughout the year
F.B.I. (Fellas Being Involved) - Male volunteers to help with Friday morning carpool.
Foundation Fridays - Help with promotional flyers and with money collection.
General - Help with copying, sorting and distributing PTA and Foundation flyers to the classrooms.
Grant Committee- Be a committee member that meets twice per year to evaluate teacher grant proposals..
Honoring Our Heroes - Help with program promotion, information distribution, essay collection, judging and reception duties.
Hospitality - Help coordinate food-related needs associated with special programs and staff appreciation.
Legacy Fund Committee- Be on the committee that meets once per year to evaluate and recommend Legacy grant proposals (5th grade parents only).
Reflections - Help program promotion, information distribution, submission collections and participants reception.
Room Parent Rep - Work with the teacher to help organize classroom volunteers and activities.
Spirit Wear - Help with tracking orders and distribution of spirit wear.
Yearbook- Help with promotion, photo collections, memory book layout and distribution.
Tasks Opportunities (Off-Site Support)
Cat Tracks - Help with content management, design and format of the PTA newsletter.
Diversity and Inclusion - Help with decorations and pre-planning for International Day.
Hospitality - Help with planning themes and food-related displays of appreciation for special programs and staff members.
Legislation and Advocacy - Help the PTA stay up-to-date on the latest topics affecting Kincaid students and families by attending Cobb County School Board meetings, and others as needed.
Membership Support - Help with data entry/admin duties associated with Kincaid PTA's requirements for GA and National PTA.
Parliamentarian/ECCC Rep - Help by serving as Parliamentarian for the PTA Board of Directors; represents Kincaid at East Cobb County Council of PTAs (ECCC) meetings
Website - Help with content management and layout of the Kincaid PTA Website (membershiptoolkit).
