Thank you for agreeing to share your experiences about your interactions with the crisis system. This information will be used to help develop and improve Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) programs across the state. CIT is a community based approach to improving crisis encounters with police when people experience a mental health or substance use related crisis.
You can expect questions about how you have accessed crisis care, what barriers you may have faced, and what needs you may have that are unmet. We are also interested in learning more about your perspectives on what might make your experiences lead to a positive outcome. It should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. This survey and its results are completely anonymous. When we collect responses, we will remove any identifying information like names and specific places that you may have provided. The de-identified information will be shared with members of our CIT Steering Committees, and will help to improve CIT programming across the state.
Please remember that everything that you share with us is confidential, and your information and identity will not be shared with anyone. Also, please keep in mind that there are no right or wrong answers. There may be questions that are triggering and/or sensitive, however you do not have to answer any questions that you are not comfortable with.
Any questions or concerns can be directed to Statewide CIT Coordinator Liz Gledhill at Lizg@thundermisthealth.org
